How Do You Know You’re Real

Johnny Oops doesn’t know if he’s real. Sometimes he thinks he’s a Prophet and sometimes he thinks he’s a Charlatan and sometimes he thinks he’s a sex maniac, but he’s convinced he’s a messenger of God.

The truth is he’s a fictional character in a novel by the same name whose aggressive genius genes take over spawning a seven foot tall giant of a son, two telepathic sexually obsessed twin daughters, a second son who is his link to immortality, and a one-foot tall albino with pink eyes by the name of Inney.

After an attempted suicide brought on by rejection by the first love of his life, he tries to use quantum computing to recreate a virtual reality world he thinks some all powerful Game Master may have constructed for his personal pleasure using him as one of his pawns, but he fails and turns once more to belief in God.

He forms a new religion called Dialectic Spiritualism, which promotes the concept of reaching out and touching people in their private essentials as a way to get closer to God, and develops a reputation as a Guru of great renown.

Switching back and forth from one reality to another, he flirts with various rebirths and an attempt at self-deification, all the while tripping from a series of alcohol and drug induced sexual escapades while married to the woman he loves, and questioning his true identity.
“All I can hear and see flashing in front of me is VR Program 194 + 0=1 is corrupted—disengage. The image and sound of the caution repeats over and over again in my mind. I can’t disengage. This is my life. I was straining to hear, but there were no calming words from our common Lord whispering in my ear. I started trembling. I thought I would never stop shaking. The world I thought I knew is coming to an end. What is happening to me? I think I’m shrinking or disappearing. I don’t want to stop existing, to be a nonentity. No.”
